What is a frozen product? |
One of the most important reasons why fruits and vegetables get spoiled is their water content up to 98%. Using this water contained by vegetables, microorganisms cause the products to spoil. The freezing deprives such microorganisms of water and the temperature is decreased to -18 oC, which prevents microorganisms in the environment from development and reproduction. The most important factor affecting the quality of a frozen product is the raw material with the storage conditions ranking as the second most important factor.
In other words, only fresh products would beat the frozen.
